Patient Eligibility & Service Prioritization Policy
At Salud Para Todos Caribe, our mission is to improve access to healthcare and wellness services for historically underserved communities in the Caribbean region of Costa Rica, with a particular focus on local communities and individuals facing barriers to care.
Because our programs operate with limited resources and are designed specifically to support local community health equity, services are prioritized for:
Members of local Indigenous and Afro-Caribbean communities
Residents of the Talamanca region and surrounding rural communities who have faced systemic and societal disparities in accessing healthcare.
Migrants, refugees, and individuals from low- and middle-income countries
We are unable to provide free or subsidized services to visitors, tourists, or individuals from higher-income countries, as our resources are reserved for the populations our programs were created to serve.
When space and provider availability allow, limited appointments may be offered to individuals from higher-income countries in exchange for a specified donation of 30,000 colones to support the organization and help sustain services for local communities
Thank you for respecting the mission and resource limitations of our organization.
